Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. However there are many different ways for you to become involved and one of the following ways may suit you.  We encourage you to show your support in whatever way you are able, and again we hope to see you at our next performance!

 
Audition to be in the Orchestra

Currently we have the following openings:  1 Trumpet, 2 Oboes, 3 Percussion, 1 Bass Clarinet, Violins, Violas.  An audition is required and must be scheduled.  Audition will consist of a short prepared piece of your choice, and some sightreading.  If you are interested in scheduling an audition, please email us at hernandosymphony@yahoo.com. Please check back often.  As positions become available, they will be posted here.

Volunteer Your Time

As a volunteer orchestra, we are always in need of volunteers for specific events or on-going positions.  We are currently in need of ushers.  If you would like to volunteer your time to help us provide great music of high standards, please contact us by calling 352-597-9555, or send us an email at hernandosymphony@yahoo.com
